Russell Simpson launches a dedicated Kensington lettings operation
7.08.2023
Well-established Kensington and Chelsea agency Russell Simpson has boosted its lettings division with two new hires for an expanded Kensington office.
A lettings presence in Kensington
Four years ago, the Chelsea-based agency opened a Kensington office to meet growing demand in that neighbourhood, as well as in Notting Hill, Holland Park and Bayswater. The office is now relocating to St James House, 13 Kensington Square, to provide space for 15-20 employees. It is set on the building’s first-floor with views over the garden square.
From now on, a dedicated Kensington lettings team will operate from the office. Both teams will be overseen by Ed Woolgar, Head of Lettings. In addition, the Kensington team has been strengthened by two new hires. Harvey Sargent is arriving from Hampton’s International, where he was a senior negotiator with experience in both the Kensington and Notting Hill neighbourhoods. Meanwhile, Jesse Daybell joins from the respected and long-established John D. Wood & Co. agency.
Offer for new landlords
Between August and the end of the year, any new landlord instructing the agency to rent a property will be offered a 5% letting fee on the first term of the rental.
Bertie Russell, Managing Director, says:
‘Our Kensington sales office has been a great success over the last four years. Now we want to do the same with lettings. A combination of Russell Simpson’s organic growth and the demand for rental property means this is the perfect time to expand our lettings operation across Kensington, Notting Hill, Holland Park and Bayswater.’
